Welcome to our first Great British Bakeoff class! A celebration of timeless British bakes, savory and sweet. From the charm of a countryside tea table to the rich heritage or regional favorites. Savory Pork Pies, a bakery staple featuring a hot water crust filled with seasoned pork. You'll learn the traditional method of shaping and sealing the pastry and discover what makes a proper Pork Pie so satisfying. Lemon Drizzle Cake - a bright and zesty cake with a tender crumb, soaked in lemon syrup for extra moisture, elegant with a cup of tea. Bakewell Tart- a classic short crust pastry shell filled with raspberry jam, almond frangipane and flaked almonds- well-loved dessert! Chelsea Buns - a soft spiraled roll filled with dried fruit, and cinnamon then brushed with a stick glaze. The quintessential teatime centerpiece, the Victoria Sandwich Cake - layers of light sponge cake, raspberry jam, and whipped cream - simple but iconic British treat named or Queen Victoria herself.  Focus on traditional, reliable ratios, and practical tips to help you master these classics in your own kitchen.

Customers sign up for a set date and time. Registrations are set to close 2 days before the event start time REFUND POLICY Certificates are NON-REFUNDABLE. Registration is a firm commitment to attend class. We DO NOT offer refunds UNLESS a class is cancelled by us due to insufficient registration or other extenuating circumstances. ANY CHANGES must be made AT LEAST ONE WEEK prior to class, and will incur a $15 processing fee for an individual class or $50 for a cooking class series. If  a  discount coupon was used your processing fee will be $25 for an individual class or $60 for a cooking class series.. By default refunds will be credited to your house account. Refunding credit cards are by request only.     

NO CANCELLATION/CHANGE WILL BE ACCEPTED IF MADE WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE DATE OF THE CLASS
